OUR STORY
PawLunova started with one Labrador who couldn't get up the stairs.
Bruno was twelve. A black Labrador we'd had since he was eight weeks old. The vet called it osteoarthritis — common, manageable, but irreversible — and told us the most useful thing we could change at home was his bed.
So we did what anyone would do. We searched. We bought. And we kept being disappointed. The "memory foam" beds were thin foam offcuts that flattened in a month. The "British" brands were drop-shipped from overseas. The properly-made ones cost £250+ and looked like they belonged in a vet's waiting room, not in our home.
We thought there had to be a better way: therapeutic-grade orthopaedic foam, properly made in the UK by people who actually care, at a price that doesn't insult you — and beautiful enough that you don't mind it sitting in your sitting room.
So we built it. PawLunova is run by a small team in Yorkshire, registered as Yutani Ltd. Every bed is cut, sewn and packed by us. Every order is shipped by us. And every customer email is answered by us — usually within a few hours, often by the same people who made the bed.

Orders & Shipping
Will a PawLunova bed actually help my arthritic / senior dog?
For most senior and large-breed dogs, yes — and the independent clinical evidence for orthopaedic memory foam beds is now well established (see The Science section above). Therapeutic memory foam distributes your dog's weight evenly, removes pressure on hips, elbows and shoulders, and supports a deeper, less-disturbed sleep. That said, PawLunova is not a medical device — if your dog is in significant pain, please see your vet alongside changing his bed.
What size do I need for a Labrador / German Shepherd / Mastiff?
A full-grown Labrador or Golden Retriever (28–40kg) is usually a Large. A Rottweiler, GSD or Doberman (35–55kg) is usually Extra-Large. Mastiffs, Newfoundlands, Bernese and Great Danes (55kg+) should always go Giant. If your dog likes to stretch out fully when he sleeps, size up. Is PawLunova really British, or is this another "designed in the UK, shipped from China" brand?
Genuinely British. Yutani Ltd is a UK-registered company (number and VAT number listed in our footer). Every PawLunova bed is cut, sewn, assembled and quality-checked in our workshop in Yorkshire, and every order is dispatched from our own UK warehouse — usually the same working day if you order before 3pm. We don't drop-ship.
How does the 100-night trial work?
Order online. Use the bed for up to 100 nights. If you or your dog aren't happy, contact us and we arrange a free collection from your door and refund you in full. No restocking fees, no awkward emails, no fine print.
Returns & Refunds
Will the foam flatten?
Our 50kg/m³ therapeutic-grade memory foam is independently certified to retain 90%+ of its shape and support for at least 10 years of daily use. If yours doesn't, our 10-year no-flatten guarantee means we replace it free.
Can the cover go in the washing machine?
Yes — every cover is fully removable and machine washable at 30°C. The waterproof inner liner is also wipe-clean, so the foam itself never gets wet, smelly or compromised.
My dog chews / digs at his bed. Is it chew-proof?
No memory foam bed in the world is genuinely chew-proof — anything you can cut with scissors a determined dog can chew. Our Oxford liner is heavily reinforced and stands up to nesting, digging and scratching, but the guarantee doesn't cover deliberate chewing damage.
