They circle for a long time before they settle.
Circling is normal. Circling, re-circling and still shifting ten minutes later usually isn't. It means no position on that bed takes the pressure off.
4.8/5 from 3,900+ UK owners
You notice it before they do. The pause at the bottom of the stairs. The longer stretch before the first step.
PawLunova beds are built on 50kg/m³ high-density memory foam — dense enough to cradle hips, elbows and spine, and to still be doing it in year five. Designed, made and dispatched from our Yorkshire workshop.

Before you buy another bed
Circling is normal. Circling, re-circling and still shifting ten minutes later usually isn't. It means no position on that bed takes the pressure off.
A dog choosing cold tiles over their own bed is telling you something. Once foam has bottomed out, the floor is genuinely the firmer, more supportive option.
The pause before the first step. The slower rise in the morning. It arrives so gradually that most owners only really notice it looking back.
Ageing isn't something a bed can undo. What a bed can change is how much work it takes to lie down — and to get back up again.
Find the right bedFind their bed
We make more than twenty beds. Your dog needs one of them.
Watch them tonight — most dogs do the same thing every single time.
Be honest with this one — it's the answer that changes the foam.
A rough weight is plenty. We'll size up if they're between two.

Why it costs what it costs
Most dog beds are filled with shredded offcuts or low-density foam. They feel wonderful in the shop, and they bottom out inside a year — at which point your dog is sleeping on the floor with a cover over it.
Every PawLunova memory foam core is 50kg/m³. That number is what decides whether a bed is still doing its job in year five. It's also why we're willing to guarantee the foam for five of them.
High-density memory foam core, CertiPUR-US certified and free from harmful chemicals.

Made in Yorkshire
Borrowdale. Coniston. Grasmere. Windermere. Every bed we make takes its name from somewhere in the lakes and dales — because that's where they're designed, made and dispatched from.
No drop-shipping. No four-week wait for a container from the other side of the world. Order by 3pm and it leaves our workshop the same day.

Before you decide
Measure your dog from nose to base of tail while they're lying down, then add 15–20cm. If they're between two sizes, size up — dogs that sprawl need the extra length more than you'd think. Our size and firmness guide has the breed-by-breed detail. And if you get it wrong, the 100-night trial covers it.
It's the density of the foam — how much material is packed into every cubic metre. Density isn't the same as firmness: a low-density foam can feel firm on day one and still collapse by month six. High-density foam keeps its structure under repeated weight, which is why a 50kg/m³ core is still supporting your dog's hips and elbows years later. It's also why we can put a 5-year guarantee on it.
Our beds are vet-informed and built to distribute weight so that pressure isn't concentrated on hips, elbows and shoulders — which is what makes lying down and getting back up harder for dogs with joint wear. A bed isn't a treatment, and it won't replace veterinary care, so please keep talking to your vet. What it can do is change the surface they spend fourteen hours a day on. Owners of older dogs are the ones who write to us most.
Yes — properly, not just spot-clean. Every cover zips off and goes straight in the machine at 30°C. Underneath it, the foam core is protected by a waterproof inner liner, so wet coats, muddy paws and accidents never reach the structure of the bed.
Order by 3pm on a working day and it's dispatched from our Yorkshire workshop that same day, with you the next. Delivery is free on UK orders over £40. Nothing is drop-shipped from overseas, so there are no three-week waits.
Then it goes back and you're not out of pocket. Let your dog sleep on it for up to 100 nights. If it isn't the bed for them, contact us inside that window and we'll arrange the return and refund every penny. You can read the full terms in our returns policy.
The least we can do is make the next ones easier to get up from.
